Swedish citizens can apply for a passport or a national ID-card at the Embassy of Sweden in Sarajevo. Read more about time booking and the application below.
Time booking
To reserve a time slot for your application, please book your appointment here: Booking passport and ID-card
You need an appointment to apply for a passport. The Embassy does not take drop in applications.
The time slots avaliable are:
To apply: Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 10:00 to 12:00
To pick up your passport: Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 13:10 and 13:50.
If you need to book more than 3 people together, please contact the Embassy.
Important information
All applicants for a Swedish passport or national ID-card must visit the Embassy in person.
Once you have booked your time slot carefully read your confirmation email and make sure to bring all the necessary documentation for your application. Uncomplete application takes longer time to complete.
Information about the current prices for passports and ID:s are listed under the section "Fees". Fees are paid via card payment in local currency to the Embassy at the time of the visit.
