Pick up Passport/ID-card/Driver License in New York

You need to bring your old passport/national ID-card/driver license when you pick up the new one. If it already expired, bring another form of valid photo ID with clearly visible signature. A parent/legal guardian can pick up a new passport for a minor (under age 18). The child does not need to be present. All applicants 18 and older must pick up their passports in person.

You need to bring your old passport/id-card/driver license to pick up your new one. Schedule the appointment in an adult's name.

The booking system will offer two options in a drop-down menu:

You may not apply for/renew a passport/ID-card during an appointment made to ”visit us during reception visiting hours”.

For pickup of the new passport/ID-card at a consulate/embassy other than the one at which the application was submitted, there is a additional processing fee, and sometimes also a shipping fee, payable at time of pick-up. The fee for the driver license may vary.
