Schengen visa to Sweden or Iceland

The Swedish Embassy in Rabat is also responsible for Schengen visa applications for Iceland in Morocco. To visit Sweden or Iceland you must have an entry visa. A Schengen visa is an authorization to enter Sweden or Iceland and stay there for a short period of time (maximum 90 days) for temporary visits, e.g. family, tourist or business visits. A Schengen visa is only valid for your stay in the Schengen countries for up to 90 days during a period of 180 days.

Visa applications are made by appointment at the VFS Global Center in Rabat. VFS Global is responsible for collecting applications, taking biometric data and returning passports. The decision to grant or refuse a visa always rests with the Swedish Embassy. Please note that all documents submitted must be in the original version and translated into French or English. If the application is not complete upon submission, it risks being refused.

Please note that on the day of your appointment, you are requested to visit the VFS Global Center at the following address: Rue Al Koufa, Rabat, next to Bab Rwah.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
All applicants for a Schengen visa at the Swedish Embassy must present themselves personally and undergo fingerprinting and photo-taking at VFS Global. For children under 12, fingerprinting is not applicable, but their presence is mandatory.

N.B.: The embassy works solely with VFS Global and has no links with other agents outside its premises or those of VFS Global, which offers its visa services for a fee. No outside agent can influence the processing time or decision.
