Ambassador Madunic gave a lecture on CSR for VERN students

On Tuesday 15 January Ambassador Diana Madunic gave a lecture on Swedish Government Policy for Sustainable Business to students from VERN university. The Ambassador participated in development of the policy on her previous position as the Swedish Ambassador for CSR.

VERN, university for applied sciences, organized a guest lecture and a panel discussion for students titled “The importance of socially responsible business and social entrepreneurship - global experiences". On this occasion Ambassador Madunic said that all Swedish companies are expected to follow the Policy for Sustainable Business adopted by the Swedish Parliament, and to integrate sustainability into their core businesses. She also added that last year more than 1600 Swedish companies submitted reports on socially responsible business. After her lecture, she participated in the panel discussion together with social entrepreneur and VERN alumni Tena Pick.

The discussion was attended mainly by students,  but also interested business representatives and media.
