The Czech Republic has formulated its first national action plan in order to implement the UN Security Council resolution 1325 on women and peace and security.
The work has been inspired by Swedish knowledge.
During an event at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Prague the Swedish ambassador, Viktoria LI, said that Sweden welcomed the Czech action plan and is pleased to have contributed to the process. Dagmar Novohradska from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs thanked Sweden for the good cooperation and said that several ministries had been involved in the work.
