Curfew in Jordan

From 19 March, Jordan announced a state of emergency. As of Saturday, 21 March at 07:00, a curfew is imposed throughout the country. Violation can result in up to one year in prison.

All preschools, schools and universities in Jordan will be closed for at least two weeks from March 15 and the government is preparing for online schooling. All stores are closed from 21 March and public events will cease until further notice. Both mosques and churches are kept closed in favor of prayer in the home. Sports and cultural activities are suspended.
