On the night of between February 29 and 1 March at 00:00, a time change was implemented in Kazakhstan, bringing the entire country into a single time zone: UTC+5.
The time change does not affect the following regions: Mangystau Atyrau, West Kazakhstan Aktobe and Kyzylorda
The time change affect the time difference with Swedish time, which now will be 4 hours for the entire country during wintertime and 3 hours when Sweden switches to summertime.
