About the Embassy
Welcome to the Embassy of Sweden in Malaysia. Our task is to promote and strengthen the relations between Sweden and Malaysia.
Our activities are focused on trade promotion but we do also contribute to further cooperation in other areas such as defense, culture and education. Furthermore, we provide consular services to Swedish citizens living in or visiting Malaysia.
The Embassy of Sweden in Kuala Lumpur does not have a migration section and does not handle visa related issues. Read more on our website Going to Sweden. Third country citizens are always eligible to apply for a visa to Sweden in their country of citizenship, provided that Sweden has an Embassy in that country competent to handle visa matters.
