The Embassy of Sweden is organizing a Photo Competition on the topic of parental leave, highlighting the role of the father and the importance of the father-child bonding experience.
Ten to fifteen photos will be selected and featured in the “Macedonian Dads” exhibition that will premiere in the Skopje City Park during the Swedish National Day Celebration on June 10th, 2022.
Three photos will be awarded.
The selection of the best three photos will be done by means of popular vote to take place also on June 10th in the Skopje City Park – Shkolka.

Summary of the Terms and Conditions:
The Photo Competition is open to all citizens from North Macedonia who are over the age of 18 on the day of the submission of the photo for the competition.
The photos should showcase moments of father(s) and child/children spending time together.
To be considered for the exhibition, the photos need to be with high resolution, in landscape or portrait mode. If the photos showcase past moments, indicate the current age of the child on the photo.
The photos need to be accompanied by:
* in case more fathers with their children are featured in the photo, written consent needs to be provided from all.
** in case of an older photo, indicate the current age of the child/children, if no longer minor(s), written consent(s) needs to be included.
The photos submitted need to be original work of the participant in the competition.
By submitting the photo in the competition, the participant agrees that the Embassy of Sweden in North Macedonia may use the photo as permanent part of the “Macedonian Dads” exhibition, thus giving the right of use both for June 10th and for any other future occasions where the Embassy will showcase the exhibition; as well as agrees that the Embassy may use the photo to communicate about the exhibition(s) in media and social media.
The photos need to be submitted no later than May 25th, 2022, at 23:59h, to the following email address: ambassaden.skopje@gov.se with a subject line: For the “Macedonian Dads” photo competition.
