Travels to Rwanda no longer discouraged from June 1

The Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has decided that it will no longer discourage travels to Rwanda, starting on June 1, 2021.

Travelers from Sweden are encouraged to register their presence abroad on Svensklistan and to read the embassy's travel information on Sweden Abroad. It is important to follow the regulations and instructions of local authorities. Entry regulations and information related to Covid-19 for Rwanda can be found on the website of the Rwanda Biomedical Center, RBC.

In addition to Rwanda, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also stops advising against unnecessary travel to six other countries: Australia, Israel, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea and Thailand; all from 1 June.
