Sweden, the EU and the Ministry of Environmental Protection cooperates with Sremska Mitrovica to improve waste management.
The 24th of September the Swedish Embassy visited the waste separation line that has been built and prepared for the next step - a project for citizens to start recycling waste. Sweden also supports a project for employment opportunities of marginalized and vulnerable population groups, for example in the waste sector.
