KTH Alumni reception at the Swedish residence

On April 9, the Swedish ambassador in collaboration with KTH (KTH Royal Institute of Technology) hosted a reception at the Swedish residence.

Around 50 KTH alumni, KTH students currently on exchange, and KTH students to be, attended the event that offered a great opportunity for networking and sharing of experiences. KTH Alumni Mr Kuan Yan Tan shared about his journey from a young student at NTU who went on an exchange to KTH and now pursues a successful career with his company Jublia.

In total, there are about 450 Singaporean students studying in Sweden each year, and the same amount of Swedish students going to Singapore. This makes Sweden one of the most popular places for Singaporean students to go on exchange. More than 100 of those students go to KTH.

Singaporean alumni from Swedish universities are important ambassadors for Sweden and play an important role in furthering cultural and professional relations. Therefore, the embassy is very proud to support Swedish universities here in Singapore and we are happy to see Swedish university alumni staying in touch both with each other and with Sweden!
