On December 5 the traditional Lucia reception was held at the Swedish ambassador’s Residence.
The invited guests, including representatives for the diplomatic and business community in Singapore as well as Singaporean counterparts across various sectors, had the opportunity to enjoy one of Sweden’s foremost cultural traditions.
The Swedish Lucia Choir under conductor Annelie Nikou performed a selection of Lucia carols and the guests were treated to a proper Swedish Christmas Table (julbord) complete with meatballs, pickled herring, ham and a “risalamalta” inspired cake!
