After 40 years at TripleOne Somerset on Somerset Road, the Embassy of Sweden moved to our new premises at Millenia Tower at the end of last year.
On March 23, the new Embassy chancery was formally inaugurated by Mr Håkan Åkesson Director General of Administrative Affairs at the Swedish Foreign Ministry who was on an official trip to Singapore and Amb Quek Poh Huat, non-resident Ambassador of Singapore to Sweden and ambassador Niclas Kvarnström. The inauguration ceremony was concluded by a traditional lion dance performance.
