On the 1-3 of June Mr Jan Salestrand, State Secretary at the Ministry of Defense, visited Singapore to participate in the annual IISS Shangri-La Dialogue.
The Shangri La Dialogue brings together politicians, policy experts and representatives from the business sector from a large number of countries for discussions on regional defense and security politics. A record number of 30 defense ministers participated in this year’s meeting. Mr Salestrand also haled bilateral consultations with a number of countries. Mr Salestrand was accompanied by Ambassador Håkan Jevrell, Defense Attaché Kenneth Raun and colleagues from the Ministry of Defense.
