As of 1st of September 2019 all the migration related matters that are currently handled by the Embassy in Ankara will be transferred to the Consulate General of Sweden in Istanbul.
In order to finalize all the initiated cases, the Embassy in Ankara will scale down the handling of migration related cases gradually. This means that it is no longer possible to contact the Embassy in Ankara to hand in an application for residence permit or to book a time for an interview. Please refer to the Consualte General in Istanbul instead (generalkonsulat.istanbul-visum@gov.se).
Starting from the 15th of August 2019 the Consulate General of Sweden in Istanbul will be responsible for migration related assignments such as ordering of residence cards related to applications of residence and work permit in Sweden and in case of loss or expired residence permit cards. After the 15th of August the migration section in Ankara will not receive visitors in its premises.
