On 6 September Ambassador Nina Tornberg, new Permanent Representative of Sweden to the World Trade organisation (WTO), presented her credentials to Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director-General of the WTO.
Ambassador Tornberg has an extensive background in law and prior to the appointment in Geneva her previous engagements include, inter alia, the roles as Deputy Head of European Correspondent Department at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Deputy Head of Department for International Trade Policy and EU Internal Market at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and as Coordinator for Trade and Promotion.
