The Embassy of Sweden would like to inform that the Swedish Embassy in Nairobi will from the 28th of June 2021 handle all Schengen Visa applications from Zambia for travelers to Sweden, Spain and Iceland. Other Members States might be included if and when representation agreements are re-established.
Applications will be submitted, as before, via VFS Global (Goldman House, Great East Road, Lusaka). VFS Global will be responsible for the transfer of visa application to and from the Embassy of Sweden in Nairobi.
The service fee will increase because of extra costs for transportations. The new service fee is 80 EUR (starting 28 June 2021). The visa application fees will remain the same. For more information please visit Zambian residents - Sweden Abroad and Welcome to VFS Global | vfsglobal
Please note that applications for residence permit for Zambian and Malawian citizens aiming to stay in Sweden for longer than 90 days will still be handled by the Embassy of Sweden in Lusaka.
